Murphy is a handsome 11-year-old Old English Sheepdog who is looking for a loving new home after the passing of his owner.

At 78 pounds, Murphy is a striking boy with one blue eye and one brown eye that perfectly match his sweet and gentle personality. He is house-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and knows several basic commands including sit, stay, down, and come.

Murphy is a well-mannered companion who gets along beautifully with both dogs and cats. One of his most endearing qualities is how incredibly gentle he is when taking treats—a small glimpse into the kind, loving soul he is.

After losing the person he loved, Murphy deserves a family who will give him the comfort, companionship, and affection he has always known. In return, he’ll offer loyalty, friendship, and plenty of sheepdog charm.

Murphy is currently located in Chester, Connecticut, and is ready to begin his next chapter with a family to call his own.
