I’ve been adopted!  Here’s a note from my new mom:

Thank you for helping Ms Lucy find her way to our home. We are overjoyed.  She did great in the car and on our stop at Home Depot and seems to has settled in happily.  She’s enjoying carrying around the squeaker Mike picked out for her is very cozy on her new bed.   We are very happy to have her!

Hi:

All I want is a loving home. That’s not too much for a nice girl like me to ask for is it?

Let me tell you a bit about myself. I’m 9 1/2 and 100 pounds of loving dog. Foster mom calls me a “young” 9 1/2 … whatever that means. She also calls me a “pudgy pumpkin”. I think that means I’m cute. I’m absolutely positive it doesn’t mean anything about that four letter word “diet”! Anyway, I need a new home. I am house trained and really love riding in the car. Need to be pulled around? Just put me on the leash and I’ll help.

I’m supposed to tell you that I am protective about my food dish. So you’ll have to work with me on that. And I really don’t like dogs getting in my face. So, I’d be best as the only dog in the home.  I don’t know if I’d be ok with cats or not….I’ve never been around them.

Interested in finding out more about me and learning if I’d be the right dog for you? Fill out the adoption application and give the placement team a call. I’m in Southington CT. Set up a time and come meet me.
