Meet Jock – A Gentle Soul Ready for His Second Chance ❤️🐾

At 10 years young, Jock, a beautiful Old English Sheepdog, has already lived through more hardship than any dog should. When he arrived in our rescue program, it was clear he had been neglected. His coat was so matted it was painful to touch, and we learned he hadn’t seen a vet in a very long time.

And yet… Jock’s spirit remains unbroken. He is sweet, gentle, and so eager for love. One look into his warm eyes and you’ll see a loyal heart just waiting to belong to someone again.  Jock loves people – hasn’t met a stranger yet.  He is a very energetic, peppy dog.

Jock enjoys going for walks—he’ll happily stroll with you, as long as he gets to be the leader. He’s fine with other dogs (we’re not sure about cats) and has been given a full “snout to stump” veterinary check-up. His teeth are in good shape. 

He’s not a fan of car rides, but once he finds a stable, loving home, we believe he’ll settle into the comfort and routine he’s never had before.
