Sweet Blue is a 1½-year-old Old English Sheepdog with striking blue eyes and a spirit that’s just beginning to blossom. Weighing around 70 pounds, Blue is full of life and potential — he’s just waiting for the right person to help him find his way.

Blue came from a difficult start, part of a hoarding situation where he didn’t get the love, structure, or socialization every young dog needs. Because of this, he’s still learning how to navigate the world. In many ways, Blue is like an 8-week-old puppy inside a big, strong body — full of curiosity and enthusiasm, but without the understanding of how to channel it yet.

He’s a sensitive soul who responds beautifully to confident, gentle leadership. He truly wants to please and is eager to learn, but he’ll need patience, consistency, and someone who sees the wonderful dog he’s meant to be. On the leash, he can be a handful, and he’ll need someone strong and steady who can help teach him boundaries and build his confidence.

Blue needs to be the only pet in the home, where he can have all the attention and structure he needs. A securely fenced yard would give him a safe place to run and play as he continues to grow into the incredible companion he’s destined to be.
