To defray the cost of grounds rental, we are asking $5 per person donation.

Please respond by June 5th, 2010 with the full names of people attending, the names of the dogs attending and if they are OES rescue dogs and what food donation you are bringing.  Please specify beverage, main dish, dessert, salad, etc. to Donna: OESMOM49@aol.com (preferred) or
781-599-1949. Bring: lawn chair/blanket, clean dogs (with leash, collar, and should have up-to-date immunizations).

SPECIAL EVENTS

Crafts: Limited space available. Table rental is $25/table. Please contact Donna to reserve your space.

Dog Hat Contest: All dogs welcome to participate.
Grooming Demo: Sandy & Kay Woodard of Twickenham Old English Sheepdogs
Agility demos: You are welcome to use the agility equipment with help from Sandy Ingmanson.

1:15pm - 1:30pm Blessing of the dogs
1:30pm - 2:30pm 2010 Presentation of Rescue dogs (All Rescue OES Dogs will be adorned with a ribboned medallion).
2:30pm - 2:40pm Raffle Drawing
2:45pm - 7:00pm Following the Rescue Parade more Freestyle, Agility and Rally. Everyone is welcome to participate

We are free to take our dogs and take photos of the beautiful flower gardens that are on the grounds. Take advantage while you are here and explore all that Stanley Park has to offer. You'll love the sights and your dog will love the new scents and the walk.

HOST HOTEL

Red Roof Inn 1254 Riverdale St. West Springfield, Ma. (413)-731-1010 Contact Lisy, our reservation code is B193 OESDR. We have a block of 40 rooms. Friday June 11th and Saturday June 12th.

The Red Woof Inn is Exit #13-A off of I-91 at Riverdale St. West Springfield, and Exit 4 off the Mass Pike, Rt 90 Springfield. If you and your dog are capable of doing stairs, please request a second floor room, which will make room for those that can’t.

For those interested in getting together for dinner after the picnic, be sure to let  Donna: OESMOM49@aol.com know with your picnic reservation.  Dinner will be held at "On The Border." Located directly behind the Red Roof Inn. No need to drive. We have a private function room. Dinneris Saturday June 12, 2010 at 7:30 p.m.
