PET ROCK FESTIVAL

Now celebrating ten years in New England, Pet Rock Fest is an annual festival that promotes kindness to animals. This expo features hundreds of tables, including breed rescues, shelters, animal welfare organizations and more. It's a see and be seen event for you and your dog to attend, but one that benefits ALL types of animals.

This family-friendly day includes an adoptable dog parade, contests, rabies clinic and low-cost microchipping, live music, a doggie water park, a cat photo contest, speakers, vendors, shows and food. It's a wonderful day for you and your leashed pet.

Dogfest and Walk for the Animals

Windrush Farm, North Andover, Ma. - Noon - 4PM   (rain or shine-it's INDOORS).

The Salem, NH Animal Rescue League is hosting the Dogfest and Walk for the Animals 2009. The event will include a doggie walk-a-thon, pet-related demonstrations and vendors, food, blessing of the animals, a craft fair, and crafts and games for the children. Denver, NEOESR Ambassador Extra-ordinaire, Martine (roadshow@neoesr.org), Lisa and ? will be at the Dogfest, staffing the NEOESR table - please stop by to say 'hi'.


 

BARK IN THE PARK,
October 3, 2009

Nottingham County Park, 150 Park Rd, Nottingham, PA  (directions to park)

Dog walkers are a large portion of the visitation in our parks and it is time to let them have a fun, family and dog oriented day! This is a day to promote responsible dog ownership and have fun with our dogs in the park. There will be competitions and programs held throughout the day.

BARK IN THE PARK is organized by Kate Mrakovich, Park Ranger for Chester County at Nottingham County Park. More information will follow soon.

We’ll need volunteers to help out Tracie DiPasquale, NEOESR’s Regional Placement Director-DE, MD, NJ,PA. Tracie can be contacted at Tracie@neoesr.org.


German Shepherd Rescue New England’s (GSRNE) 9th Annual
Walk ‘n’ Wag All Breed Dog Walk
October 3, 2009

10 AM – 3 PM, at Borderland State Park, Easton/Sharon, MA.

NEOESR will have a booth plus NEOESR’s own agility stars, Charley TGTBT, Friend of NEOESR, The Amazing Murray, and Denver will be running the Agility Demo.

Bay Colony Cluster Dog Show
Dec 3-6, 2009

Location: RI Convention Center, Providence, RI.

After almost a century at the Expo Center in Boston – the Bay Colony Cluster Dog Show is moving to Rhode Island.  The Expo Center will be torn down to make room for condominiums.
