Pet Rock Fest - held at Quinsigamond Community College - is an annual
festival that promotes kindness to animals. The festival features hundreds
of tables, including breed rescues, shelters, animal welfare organizations
and more.
This is a family-friendly day that includes an adoptable dog parade,
contests, rabie clinic and low-cost microchipping (certificates provided)
by VCA, live music,
a doggie water park, a cat photo contest, speakers, vendors, shows
and food. It's a wonderful day for you and your leashed pet.
Interested in volunteering? Contact Martine
Meijering email: roadshow@neoesr.org
Also, Pet Rock is especially looking for volunteers from exhibiting
groups this year to help us run the festival. This can include only
a couple of hours throughout the day. Pet Rock is also looking for
coordinators to become part of their core team at Pet Rock to help
them raise money/plan the festival throughout the year. This can be
done in a variety of capacities. If you are interested, or know someone
who is, please let Martine Meijering at mmeijering@comcast.net know
and your name will be passed on the Pet Rock organizers.
